Parodia buiningii

General Description

Körper: stets einfach, nie sprossend, 40 cm hoch, 20 cm breit, hell graugrün, im Scheitel nicht wollig,
Rippen:
ca. 16, sehr dünn, ca. 2 cm hoch, an der Basis 12-14 mm breit, zuweilen
spiralig gedreht, in dünne scharfkantige, beilförmige Höcker
gegliedert, die kinnartig, die darüber liegende Areole um 6-7 mm
überragen. Areolen: anfangs länglich, weißwollig, verkahlend und dann rundlich. Alle
Dornen breit und flach, an der Spitze glasig gelblich, an der Basis
verdickt und dunkelbraun bis schwarz, bis 3 cm lang.
Mitteldornen: etwa 4, kreuzförmig angeordnet, oft von einem kleinen Nebendorn begleitet, bis 4 cm lang.
